What does the Holy Qur’an tell us?

[Al-Imran 3:3.26] “He (Allah) hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture with truth, confirming that which was (revealed) before it, even as He (Allah) revealed the Torah and the (Injil) Gospel.”
[Al-Baqarah 2:136.36] “Say (O Muslims): We believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which Moses and Isa received, and that which the prophets received from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto Him we have surrendered.”

As true Muslims (Submitters to Allah) we much make no distinctions or differences or decentions about or between any of the Holy books. This is a command of Allah and a warning to us who are believers. Some have mistakenly turned away from the Kalimatullah and have lead others to despise some of the Holy books that Allah has so graciously sent down to us. May Allah have mercy on the souls on the Day!

But hasn’t the Torah, Zabur, and the Injil become corrupted?

[Al-Hijr 15:9] “We (Allah) have, without doubt, sent down the Message; and We will assuredly guard it from corruption.”

Again, Allah makes clear to believers that it was He who send down the Message, Scripture with truth. This is not referring to simply one part of the Message or Word sent down by Allah, or He would have made that clear to us. As the scriptures above make very clear, Allah makes no distinction between themit is all His Word (Kalimatullah). And He promises that he will guard or protect all of it from any corruption! Allah is not a lier, if He wishes something to be, it is! This is not too difficult a thing for Him. Sometimes, however, we accept lies because we are afraid of the truth! As true Muslims, we must surrender to the truth sent down to us through all of the prophets of Allah and trust Him that the Words He has given them will be protected from man’s lies and deceptions, for this is the Will of Allah.
