1. Surah 5:46-48-“And We sent after them in their footsteps Isa, son of Marium, verifying what was before him of the Taurat and We gave him the Injil in which was guidance and light, and verifying what was before it of Taurat and a guidance and an admonishment for those who guard (against evil). And the followers of the Injil should have judged by what Allah revealed, those are they that are the transgressors. And We have revealed to you the book with the truth, verifying what is before it of the Book and guardian over it.”
2. Surah 19:30-“He said [Isa Almasih in the cradle]: surely I am a servant of Allah; He has given me the Book and made me a prophet.”
3. Surah 57:27-“Then We made Our apostle to follow in their footsteps, and We sent Isa son of Marium afterwards, and We gave him the Injil.”

Quran Supports Earlier Books:
1. Surah 3:3-“He has revealed to you the Book with truth, verifying that which is before it, and he revealed the Taurat and the Injil aforetime, a guidance for the people, and He sent the Furqan.”
2. Surah 46:12-“And before it the book of Musa was a guide and a mercy; and this is a Book verifying (it) in the Arabic language that it may warn those who are unjust and as good news for the doers of good.”
3. Surah 4:47-“O you have been given the Book! Believe that which We have revealed verifying what you have.”
[Note that here it verifies the Scriptures existing at the time of Mohammed. Also, the Rodwell Koran, Everyman’s Library Edition reads: “confirmatory of the Scripture which is in your hands”.]
4. Surah 2:89-“And when there came to them a Book from Allah verifying that which they have”
5-11. Surah 35:31, Surah 46:30, Surah 10:37, Surah 6:92; Surah 2:41, Surah

Commands to Believe All the Holy Books:
1. Surah 4:136-“O you who believe! Believe in Allah and His Apostle and the book which he has revealed to His Apostle and the Book which He revealed before;”
2. Surah 42:15-“To this then go on inviting, and go on steadfastly on the right way as you are commanded, and do not follow their low desires and say: I believe in what Allah has revealed of the Book, and I am commanded to do justice before you: Allah is our Lord and your Lord; we shall have our deeds and you shall have your deeds; no plea need there be (now) between us and you: Allah will gather us together, and to Him is the return.”
3. Surah 29:46-“And do not dispute with the followers of the Book except by what is best, except those of them who act unjustly, and say: We believe in that which has been revealed to us and revealed to you, and our Allah your Allah is One, and to Him do we submit.”

Miscellaneous:
1. Surah 10:94-“But if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book before you”
[Note: Mohammed is here instructed to go to Christians and Jews had read the Scriptures before; therefore the current Scriptures must have been reliable!]
2. Surah 40:56-“Surely (as for) those who dispute about the communications of Allah without any authority that has come to them, there is naught in their breasts but (a desire) to become great.”
[Note: those who dispute about Allah’s communication are said to be proud!]
3. Surah 7:170-“And (as for) those who hold fast by the Book and keep up prayer, surely we do not waste the reward of the right doers.”
[Note: the Book here refers to pre-Quranic Scriptures, probably the Taurat. Those who follow the Taurat will be rewarded!]
4. Surah 5:68-“Say: O followers of the book! You follow no good till you keep up the Taurat and the Injil and that which is revealed to you from your Lord; and surely that which has been revealed to you from your Lord shall make many of them increase in inordinacy and unbelief; grieve not therefore for the unbelieving people.”
5. Surah 32:3-“Or do they say: He has forged it? Nay! It is the truth from your Lord that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you, that they may follow the right direction.”
[Note: this says that the Quran was given to those who had not received earlier revelation!]
6. Surah 43:43-“Naught is said to you but what was said indeed to the apostles before you.”
[Note: nothing was said to Mohammed that was not said to previous prophets.]
